Vivid

This year for my dad's birthday we decided to celebrate it as a family. We hopped the plane to Cebu and had a 3-day long vacation there. We watched movies, played bowling, and just spend the time together. And honestly, this is one of the family vacation I enjoyed the most. And while we're there I took the opportunity to take some outfit shots, because I tell you that place is freaking beautiful.

Knowing that Cebu is going to be hot, I decided to go for something fun and bright, and since I was in the mood for color blocking, why not? I am always fond of combining different colors together and be surprised how they look good together, exhibit A.

Even if the color combination reminded me slightly of an eggplant, i don't really care, I like it LOL.

One thing that I know about color blocking is to not over do it. The key is to incorporate some neutral pieces, in that way you can balance your outfit and won't look like a walking rainbow. In my case, I neutarlized my outfit through my purse (well technically it's my mom's purse).

For accessories, I kept it very simple and light. I used this long spike necklace that I got at claires and some bracelets with the same color palette as my outfit. Then again, when color blocking you don't need alot of accessories beacaue the outfit itself already makes a statement.

Top: Forever 21 | Shorts: Forever 21 | Shoes: H&M | Necklace: Claires | Bracelets: Random

Well, sembreak's over and back to reality. I hope I spent my hours well this sembreak because for sure I will not have some free time for the next few months.
Good luck!

Berries

I think I forgot something! Oh yeah, I forgot to blog about my last outfit in Hongkong or to be specific in Macau. What's that they say, better late than never! Let me just go straight to what I wore.

The most effortless thing to wear are dresses, and I'll 100% vouch for that. They are just so easy and they make you look like a lady. Especially dresses like this, don't you just love it's collar? It's so pretty and sweet. I would die for dresses like this, that's why i envy Jess from New Girl, that girl has a lot of cute dresses and I want them all!

Dress: Thrifted | Bag: Coach | Shoes: Suprafame

Oh!one more adorable thing about this dress is it's print, this dress can't get any better :)

There's nothing more to say about this look, it is just plain adorable.
But what's not adorable right now is the fact the we don't have any internet connection. It's been a week that we're disconnected from the virtual world and there are pros and cons. Cons, my blog and youtube channel are suffering. I can't post a single entry in any of them. Pros, I am more into my studies. And now that I think of it, it's kinda good that we got disconnected, God does move in mysterious ways.

Have a good day!

Back Revelation

Oh freedom! Why'd you leave me so fast. Tomorrow, classes will start again for some universities and unfortunately UST is one of them. That's why today, I'll be doing everything I want (like blogging*wink face) because for sure I will soon be saying goodbye to freedom while welcoming stress and a lot of work, again!
#Student problems

Anyway, here's my second outfit in Hongkong. After going to Ocean Park in our 1st day, we decided to go to another amusement park in our 2nd day, and obviously that would be DISNEYLAND!!!

As I have said in my last post, it would be a lot more convinient to wear a pair of shorts when going to amusement parks because it does not only allow you to move but it is also an appropriate thing to wear to combat heat.

This time I went for a more casual look, just a shirt and a pair of denim cut offs which is the typical thing to wear when you're in Disneyland. You might just want to go for comfort instead of style, but again no one said anything about both right?

What i love about this outfit is even it's a simple combination, the print of the top definitely takes it to another level of casual wear. It gave it more spunk and character.

Of course, that's not the only thing I love about this top. It has this revelation in the back that serves as another passage of air because apparently wearing a pair of shorts is not enough to combat heat.

I love that my top has a bunch of colors in it that I didn't have a hard time picking out accessories to go with it.

This is probably my favorite outfit I wore in Hongkong. It's very comfortable yet it look put together at the same time(Will definitely hoard tops like this).

Top: Forever 21 | Shorts: Thrifted | Bag: Coach | Shoes: SupraFame | Pearl Bracelet: Forever 21 | Cross Bracelet: Trinkets for Keeps | Braided Bracelet: Simone's Closet

So for all those student's out there, enjoy your time while you can or you just sleep whole day because you probably won't get some in the next 5 months *evil laugh* well of course including me.
As always have a nice day!

Nautical Again!

Hello everybody! Your lousy blogger on duty, and yep I'm referring to myself. Besides from being an inconsistent blogger well I just think I don't talk to you enough anymore. But here I am again with a post in a random date and I just want to thank you all :D

Last week my family and I went to Hongkong for a vacation. And I took that chance to take some outfits shots since my brother is there to take it. *Sigh this blog will never be alive without my bro. Anyway, I am thankful for him every single time he takes my outfits shots. Speaking of outfits, here what I wore to our first day in Hongkong, our first stop OCEAN PARK BABY!

A little tip when you go to any amusement part, do not wear anything that might expose you "hooha". And that's a lesson I learned when I'm in the line of "The Flash" looking at a very uncomfrotable lady that is about to be turned upside down by "The Flash" in a mini flouncy skirt. Well I'm glad my mom had told me to pack some shorts instead of skirts I can even hear her voice right now echoing indide of my head saying " I told you so". Moms, why are they always right?

Since I don't have a large collection of shorts I'm always glad to have a pair of basic shorts that I can wear a bajillion times. I was feeling nautical that day so I went all out nautical, againnnn! I can't stop myself from pairing these three colors together, they just look so freaking good together and a striped top just put the outfit all together.

For the accessories, I feel another tip coming guys. I say always settle for minimal accessories, unless you want to loose every single jewelry you have riding all those amusement rides all day. For me I just went with my dainty cross bracelet, a pearl bracelet and to add a nautical vibe I added a brown beaded bracelet which always reminds me of something nautical, I just can't seem to recall it.

What item can be more nautical than an anchor, right? *wink

And yes we did it on purpose taking photos with a perfectly equal nautical background, with all the ropes and stuff haha.

It's a fun day and a lot of memories to treasure. And I can't wait to show you all the pictures we took. For now, I wish you all a wonderful day.

Style Satyr

Hola! Ok, I'm not going to get into the whole apologizing thing but let's just say I'm spending my summer sulking and just enjoying the couch here in my house which is probably the reason why I lack posts. But we did go to Bacolod awhile back and here's what I wore.

What I like about this outfit is how the floral bottom balances the edginess of the upper half of my outfit. And if you're wondering that is also the reason behind my title. Well, I don't know how I compared my outfit with a satyr, since a satyr is a half goat and a half human, but I guess I'm just obsessed with greek mythology that I'll find any way to talk about it (wink face).

I accessorized combining gold and silver pieces and sticked to black with my bag and shoes.

This is the outfit I wore when we flew back to Manila so I thought a blazer would be great for warmth while flying. On the otherhand, this outfit would still work with the blazer off.

Upon arriving in Manila we immediately went to MOA and luckily we were a little early so we managed some outfit shots in the aisle thing :)

Top: Baclaran | Leggings: Chic Label | Shoes: Supra Fame | Bag: Thrifted

Seeing these photos made me miss my long hair, oh yes I haven't shown you my new hair yet but you can check it out on my youtube channel, just in case you want to see it.

Have a nice day!

Non Repetatur

I do not know where this rule came from, but apparently bloggers/celebrities or people in general can't wear the same clothes when it's already photographed, hence the title. Say whaaaat?

Well I'll admit at first, I also didn't want to repeat the clothes I posted here on my blog. But reality hit me. A girl not can't have that much of clothes that she can have different items in her outfits for 365 days of the year, can she?  But on the other hand, a girl have clothes that can be mixed and matched to create outfits so she can fill each day of the year. See what I did there?

Top: Thrifted | Skirt: Thrifted
Yes, I already used both of these items in an outfit post here and here. The reason why I can get away wearing these again is because they are categorized as basic pieces and repeating them is not actually a big deal. And that's why I adore basics so much.
Well I can say that this pairing is my go-to outfit. It's an effortless look and also very comfortable.

Watch: Coach | Pearl bracelet: Thrifted | Braided Bracelet: Simone's Closet

Flats: People are People
Wow! My pictures are getting fewer each time I edit. Well that I can blame to me being so picky and also because of terrible lighting at night. Well, this is always our problem(me and my brother) when we take pictures at night. Besides from there is no decent light around, there is also no good backdrop to take pictures on. So that's the story why I only have three pictures for today.

Nonetheless, I hope you guys liked the outfit :)

I'm really trying to keep up with the schedule I came up with and I apologize for the inconsistency of my blog. To make it out to you here's a video that I recently filmed :)

Daddy's Little Girl

Holy Macaroni! Reality is coming to eat me again.  The most dreaded time for students is here. The start of the 2nd semester, spooky!

I know what you're thinking right now, doesn't she have a class? Well as a matter of fact I have a class later, I'm just trying to maximize my vacant time as early as now for blogging because on busy days I might not be able to squeeze it in.

Moving on, as I have mentioned in my previous post, my Dad's birthday was last week and we celebrated it in his work place. I want to dress up appropriately but still having fun so here's what I came up with.

I stocked up some blazers waiting to use it when it gets cold here in the Philippines, and no, it's not cold enough for me to wear a blazer but I just can't wait anymore so I decided to just wear them nonetheless. I always adored the dress-blazer combo and I was urged to try it that day. I accessorized with fun and girly colors to avoid the too-serious look brought by the blazer.

Necklace: Divisoria

I really into floral prints right now, the concentrated ones are one of my favorites
Love the details on the buttons
Blazer: Thrifted | Dress: Thrifted | Belt: Thifted | Bag: Thrifted

For the past few months, I am using broadband, computer shops, and even the internet section offered by my university to connect to the internet to blog. But then just yesterday we finally got our connection arranged, so yehey!!! Finally, my problems with regards to blogging is now coming down to one thing, school work, and that good enough for me.
But then again, I am trying to focus on my studies this sem, and now it's for real. So I can only do my businesses in the internet when I really have a leisure.

Floral is Eternal

Honestly, I am not really a very family-oriented person. Nor very close to my friends. Heck I don't think I have someone to call my best friend. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of friends, friends I really love. But, I still haven't shown the whole me to anyone. I still want to find a person I can be comfortable with, who I can be myself when with her/him.   For now, I enjoy being alone and be myself around myself.

Well, last week me and my family hanged out. We just drove out of the city.  We ate, we shopped and enjoyed the presence of each other. That made me realized that being with family is a very important thing to a person. Whether you're family-oriented or not, you want to be a alone or not, family is family and it's good to know that no matter what there will always be someone to catch you and be there for you.

Here's an outfit in a day with my family.
My love affair with high waisted shorts continue, it's like I can't wear any shorts unless it's high waisted. I just love how it sucks my belly, and at the same time flatters my body. Oh there's more, it is also appropriate for people living in the Philippines :)

I want to feel bright and vibrant that day, so I dressed according to how I feel. What's more vibrant that florals right? And pairing it with a bold and bright cobalt blue  is a total statement. I added the blazer at last minute to balance the shortness of my bottom half.

Florals have always been my favorite print. You can do so much with it; wear it in your top, bottom, bag, shoes, or any kind it still gives that oomph an outfit needs. I guess that's why for me it can be lined up with other classic pieces because floral is eternal, and I love how that rhymes lol :)

Blazer: Forever 21

Top: Thrifted | Shorts: Thrifted | Bag: Thrifted

Collar Necklace: Greenhills

The long break is coming to an end so spend your last few vacation days wisely because on the upcoming weeks you'll be spending it with books and paperworks, but if you're not a student like us, good for you :)

What do you think of my outfit?
